One definition of a delusion is a dream that’s (statistically) impossible to achieve in one’s current condition. Perpetual motion machines for example. A different definition of a delusion is a dream that can be achieved but will destroy any number of other things while doing so. For example, trying to escape climate change by shipping humans to Mars.
